Character

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

I AM THANKFUL:

FOR THE WIFE

WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

FOR THE HUSBAND

WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

FOR THE TEENAGER

WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES
BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,
NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES I PAY

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM EMPLOYED
.

FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE

FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT

BECAUSE IT MEANS WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

FOR THE PARKING SPOT I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT

BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE OF
LAUNDRY AND IRONING

BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS

BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.

AND FINALLY, FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL

BECAUSE
IT MEANS I HAVE FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME.

To live love

To live love is to be love. To be one with the Father is to be equal with the Father, and as the understanding of the entity is gained in the application of truths gained the consciousness of truth is apparent--for, as has been given, to love is to live love--not the answer of desire or of amorous affection, but is all in one--for love is law, law is love.

True Inner Peace

The seeking and finding of true inner peace is an ongoing quest in the human soul. It is the insatiable hunger which drives humankind forward to find God, and to find Him in perfection. And so the quest for perfection begins. Of course this has often been equated with worthiness, but that is not so. God is no respecter of persons. He accepts each alike; man or woman, rich or poor, saint or sinner. All are equal in His eyes, and neither are races or creeds unequal in any way. Each is welcome at the ‘Master’s table.’
The only thing that determines the speed of spiritual development is the drive and search for inner peace. Those who attain this inner peace lose all fear of dying, for they have found something in themselves which is eternally alive, and that precious God-connection, which was always there, gets plugged into by the human and a deep realization dawns that he or she is one with the Creator, and that race, creed or color matter not. Only the relationship with the eternal Father matters. It then becomes of consuming interest to find out more about that divine connection, and more time will be spent in the Silence of the heart.

Living Human Forces Within

For within the human body--living, not dead--living human forces--we find every element, every gas, every mineral, every influence that is outside of the organism itself. For indeed it is one with the whole. For it is not only a portion of, and equal to, and able to overcome or meet every influence within, but there is not the ability in the third dimensional force or influence to even imagine anything that isn't a part of the activity of a physical living organism!
